Cargohaus, Inc. has successfully handled the first dedicated freighter flights of Royal Air, marking a new chapter in the carrier’s cargo operations in the Philippines.
On August 12 and 13, 2025, the maiden flights originating from Nanning, China, arrived in Manila with shipments bound for Cebu, Clark, Davao, and other local destinations. The cargo, composed largely of e-commerce goods, was processed through Cargohaus’ facilities at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The shipments were towed to the Cargohaus warehouse by a third-party ground handling partner, where the Cargohaus’ team carried out break bulking, provided secured storage in a dedicated area for sensitive items and facilitated the release of goods.
Industry observers note that the move signals Royal Air’s intent to strengthen its presence in the Philippine cargo market, particularly in response to the growing volume of e-commerce trade. For Cargohaus, the operation underscores its role as a key logistics player capable of supporting the expanding freighter networks of both local and foreign airlines.
